A young couple and the mother's 3-year-old boy died in a fire overnight in the Wissinoming section of Philadelphia early Wednesday morning, and fire officials were still trying to figure out what sparked the fatal blaze.
Fire officials said two sisters lived in the Anchor Street row home with their families -- one escaped with her family, the other did not.
The names of the victims were not immediately released, but fire officials said they believed the 2:30 a.m. fire broke out in the bedroom of the couple killed.
Fire officials had the fire under control in less 25 minutes, and said the family did not have a working smoke alarm in the house.
