Squirrel Blamed for Alabama City Hall Blaze

The city of Red Bay is searching for a temporary place to house its city hall.

Fire destroyed the building on Saturday.

Officials said a squirrel caused the blaze when it landed on a nearby transformer.

The city hall housed the local jail and police department.

A vault containing many important documents was saved.

The town's mayor says insurance coverage will allow the city to rebuild.
