Firefighters Battle Fireworks Fire at Universal

Three big rigs loaded with fireworks caught fire at Universal Studios in Orlando on Tuesday morning.

The fire was extinguished, WESH 2 News reported.

Fire officials said they received the call at 4 a.m., and foam was used to help extinguish the blaze. The tractor-trailers were specifically designed to carry pyrotechnics.

Employees in the area of the fire were evacuated, and no injuries were reported, officials said.

An investigation is under way, and fire officials said they are looking into the possibility of hazardous contamination at the scene of the blaze.
