No injuries were reported in the house fire.

Strong winds gave firefighters trouble as they battled a blaze on Indianapolis' west side Friday morning.

The fire broke out at about 4:30 a.m. at a home in the 1100 block of West 28th Street.

The blaze was brought under control in about an hour. No one was inside the home when the fire began. Officials thought the home might be vacant. No one was injured.
