Firefighters stopped flames from spreading to neighboring homes Friday as a fire consumed a southwest Houston home.
Flames shot out of the attic of the home on Silo Lane and Secretariat Lane at about 1 a.m.
Most of the home burned before firefighters extinguished the blaze.
No one was inside the home when it caught fire, and no injuries were reported.
