Men Escape Texas House Fire
Two men escaped from their burning home in Channelview Monday, KPRC Local 2 reported.
Officials said the blaze broke out at the home on Cedar Lane near Avenue D at about 12:30 a.m.
Crews from the Cloverleaf Volunteer Fire Department, Highland Volunteer Fire Department and Channelview Fire Department responded to the fire.
Firefighters said it appeared the fire started in the utility room of the two-story home.
Arson officials are investigating, but officials said it is likely the fire was caused by an electrical problem.
No injuries were reported.
