DETROIT --
Detroit firefighters battled a blaze on the Detroit, Highland Park border early Monday.
Two homes caught on fire on North and Log Cabin Roads around 4 a.m.
One of the homes was vacant.
Witnesses said smoke could be seen for miles.
Power lines fell down on top of a fire truck.
One firefighter was injured, but he did not need medical attention.
There were no other injuries reported.
The fire is under control.
