Fire Commissioner Nicholas Scoppetta joined firefighters and residents of the Upper West Side yesterday as they celebrated the "Return to Quarters" of Ladder Company 25.
"Here, there's a very palpable feeling of 'It's good to be home,' " Scoppetta said.
The 103-year-old firehouse at 205 West 77th St. was closed for more than a year while the city completed a $6.7 million renovation that included new heating, electrical and plumbing systems in the building designed for horse-drawn firetrucks.
