Organizers of the annual Law Enforcement Memorial Motorcycle Run expect twice as many people to participate this year than last. The 3rd annual event -- set for Sunday, Sept. 19 -- commemorates police, fire, and emergency medical services personnel killed in the line of duty.

Known as the "Ride to Remember," the event was started to honor fallen Washington Township Corporal Steven Levy, who died in 2002. This year, organizers will also dedicate the ride to State Police Trooper Bertram T. Zimmerman III. Zimmerman, 32, of Gloucester Township, was responding to a robbery in Dennis Township in February when his patrol car crashed.
