CHARLEROI, Pa. (AP) -- Authorities were investigating what caused 12 people to be overcome by fumes at a warehouse Tuesday morning, apparently from chemicals that roofers had used over the weekend.
The employees were sickened at World Kitchen's warehouse in Washington County but Charleroi Fire Department said it does not know what chemicals were used.
Ten employees of World's Kitchen, one firefighter and one emergency medical technician were decontaminated, tested and treated for breathing problems, Monongahela Valley Hospital spokesman Ron Paglia said. No one was admitted to the hospital, he said.
