A Chilean musician accidentally set himself on fire during a performance in southern Chile, according to a Local 6 News report.

Lead singer Aldrin Montecinos of Megiddo was on-stage in Valdivia, Chile, performing a fire routine during the concert earlier this week when the flames ignited his long beard and hair.

Band members quickly put out the flames with a fire extinguisher and then completed the show.

The incident was caught on tape by someone near the stage.

The heavy metal group's latest album, released in 2003, was called "Subterranean Empire" that features songs such as "Lord Satan" and"Armageddon," according to the report.
