Bel Air and Fallston firefighters responded to Annie's Playground Monday to help a young boy trapped on playground equipment.
The boy climbed onto the roof of one of the pieces of equipment at the Fallston playground and could not get back down, according to Dave Williams, spokesperson with the Harford County Volunteer Fire and EMS Association. He did not have the boy's age.
There were no injuries and emergency medical personnel were not called to the scene, Williams said. A firefighter used a ladder to retrieve the child and help him down from the roof.
The location is on the line dividing the Fallston and Bel Air fire response districts, prompting a response from both fire companies, he added.
