Canada Fire Truck Slams Into Post Office After Crash

Two firefighters and a civilian driver were treated for minor injuries after the collision that resulted in Squad 11 crashing into the building.

An Orangeville fire truck slammed into a post office after it was involved in crash Tuesday night.

Two firefighters and a civilian driver were treated for minor injuries following the collision near the corner of Broadway and John Street around 6 p.m., according to The Orangeville-Banner.

Squad 11 was responding to a call at the time of the crash, Fire Chief Andy Macintosh told the newspaper.

Authorities are currently investigating the cause of the crash.

"The fortunate thing about this is that no pedestrians were hit and nobody in the store was injured," MacIntosh told CityNews.
