Civilian Injured in Crash With Chicago Fire Truck

One person was injured and taken in good condition to Saint Bernard Hospital.

One person was injured Monday morning in a crash involving a fire truck on the South Side in the city's West Englewood neighborhood.

The crash happened shortly before 11 a.m. near the intersection of Garfield Boulevard and Ashland Avenue, according to Chicago Fire Department Media information.

One person was injured and taken in good condition to Saint Bernard Hospital and Health Care Center, officials said.

There were no immediate details available from police about the circumstances leading up to the crash.
