Clackamas firefighters rescued a person from an early morning house fire in Milwaukie.
Firefighters were called to the house with a report of a person trapped on Hemlock Street at 5:29 a.m.
Crews found flames engulfing three sides of the 1,200-square-foot home when they arrived.
Firefighters from Heavy Rescue 5 and Truck 2 went into rescue mode and entered the building to search for possible victims as Engine 1 attacked the fire, according to a release from the Clackamas Fire District.
They found the person in a back bedroom immediately and removed them to Clackamas Fire Medic 3 for transport to Kaiser Sunnyside hospital.
The person is listed in critical condition and two others from residents were also transported.
The fire was placed under control at 5:40 a.m.
