MO Firefighter Ejected in Rollover Crash

The Southeastern Randolph firefighter was driving to a fire when the apparatus left the road.

A firefighter was seriously injured after being ejected during an apparatus crash near Renick Saturday.

Southeastern Randolph Fire Protection District Kenneth McCune, 57, was behind the wheel when the apparatus left the road and rolled over  while responding to a fire, according to television station KMIZ

The Missouri State Highway Patrol said McCune was ejected in the crash on Business Highway 63 and taken to University Hospital.

McCune has served with the department for several years, Capt. Charlie Peel told the television station.
