Tanker Rollover Injures Two MD Firefighters

One firefighter was critically injured when the Dunkirk tanker rolled over en route to a fire.

Two Dunkirk firefighters were taken to the hospital after the tanker they were in rolled over Saturday.

Officials told WJZ that the tanker was responding to a house fire in Huntington around 8 a.m. when the crash occurred.

One firefighter was flown to MedStar Hospital in Washington, DC, and it listed in critical condition. A second firefighter was transported to a local hospital for evaluation. 

The cause of the accident is under investigation.
