April 19-- Two Vermont firefighters suffered minor injuries when a fire truck hit a pole and then crashed into a ditch Monday.

NECN reports that the Alburgh firefighters were responding to a structure fire in Isle La Motte at the time of the crash.

The assistant fire chief said motorists were not making way for fire trucks, and officials are looking for a driver of a grey or silver SUV who witnesses say was on the double-yellow lines blocking traffic.

More than eight departments were responding to the fire, which resulted in no injuries.
