Fifty-five firefighters responded to an early morning fire at a Marine Ocean Terminal building in Bayonne Saturday.

The three-alarm fire broke out in a maintenance and repair company for chassis and shipping containers.

"There was a lot of flammable compressed gas cylinders, containing propane, argon, etc., that were involved in the fire and exploded," Bayonne Deputy Chief Bill Bartos told NJ.com.

The fire was brought under control in three hours.

Officials told the newspaper that the fire was not suspicious, but the cause if under investigation.
