University of Extrication Electric Plug-In Vehicle Stabilization
This video clip looks at the floorpan-mounted, lithium-ion high-voltage battery along the undercarriage of a Mitsubuishi i-MiEV electric plug-in vehicle. This entire battery compartment would be considered ‘out-of-play’ when stabilizing and/or lifting the vehicle. Note the low ground clearance of this vehicle.
