March 05--WEST PALM BEACH -- City commissioners voted 4-1 on Monday to approve a $200,000 settlement to former city firefighter Capt. Rick Curtis.

Curtis was fired in 2011 following a DUI conviction that was later overturned in court.

Commissioners postponed the vote on Feb. 19 after Curtis said he was pressured to sign the settlement and was entitled to more money and the return of his pension.

On Monday, Curtis again asked for more time.

Commissioner Ike Robinson cast the dissenting vote.
