NJ City Settles Suit with Driver in Apparatus Crash

The woman alleged that she suffered severe and permanent injuries when a Paterson apparatus struck her car.

The city of Paterson settled a lawsuit with a woman who was involved in a collision with a fire apparatus.

The lawsuit alleged that Tunisha Wise suffered severe and permanent injuries in the 2013 accident, NorthJersey.com reported. 

Wise was stopped at a red light when when the apparatus struck her car as it turned. 

The apparatus struck the rear of Wise's Pontiac Aztek, according to the police report. 

Wise was awarded $135,000 by the city council.
