Oshkosh Airport Products Brings on Two New Appointments
Andy Mathes has joined Oshkosh Airport Products as Business Unit Director, leading the strategic direction of the company’s airport firefighting vehicle business. Mathes brings extensive experience in revenue growth, product management, business development, and cross-functional leadership. He joins from Plexus Corporation, where he most recently served as Global Customer Director, and previously held progressive operational leadership roles at Amcor, a global Fortune 500 company headquartered in the Oshkosh-Appleton area.
A U.S. Marine Corps veteran, Mathes, led Marines in engineering and airfield operations and served as a Foreign Military Advisor in Afghanistan. He holds a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from the U.S. Naval Academy and a master’s degree in project management from Saint Mary’s University. Mathes resides in Appleton with his family.
Jack Bermingham has been appointed Vice President and General Manager of Oshkosh AeroTech’s Ground Support Equipment (GSE) business. Bermingham transitions from his role as Business Unit Director at Oshkosh Airport Products, where he and his team expanded market share and introduced groundbreaking innovations such as the Striker Volterra Electric Aircraft Rescue and Firefighting (ARFF) vehicle. His leadership also advanced business systems and distribution models to improve efficiency and customer reach.
Since joining Oshkosh in 2012, Bermingham has held roles of increasing responsibility in global markets, including sales and leadership positions in Australia and Singapore. He holds a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from The George Washington University and an MBA from the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh. Bermingham and his family will relocate to Orlando, Florida.
