Often reports of fire are delayed, our response can be seriously slowed, and our operations can be effected by all kinds of problems.
The winter of 2001-2002 was unusual for Buffalo New York. We had not received any snow in November and as of December 23rd the ground was still green. No snow in Buffalo for Christmas is unheard of. Starting on December 24th to early December 28th 82.3 inches of snow came down. To put this in perspective only the very top picks in the NBA draft could stick their noses out of this much snow.
