A firefighter was burned while trying to search a blazing Sparta home on May 3.
Fire crews found heavy fire issuing from the two-story home just after 5:30 a.m.
Mutual aid was summoned from Andover and Ogdensburg to help Sparta crews bring the fire under control
With the heavy fire conditions knocked down, firefighters found the body of a deceased male on the first floor.
