Man Rescued from Lakewood, NJ, House Fire by Neighbors, Officer

A discarded cigarette ignited combustibles under a screened-in porch, fire officials said.

A resident was rescued by neighbors and a police officer early Saturday in Lakewood.

The man was listed in critical condition while the officer was releaed after treatment for smoke inhalation. A firefighter was transported for a cardiac issue, according to News12.
