A firefighter who was responding to an early morning call spotted flames coming from a Conshohocken business and notified dispatchers.

The fire at Philadelphia Floor Store and Centex Blinds was discovered around 3 a.m. and flames engulfed the one-story building.

Three alarms were sounded and residents were told to shelter-in-place until the it was determined to be safe. 

Several explosions were heard as crews set up for the defensive attack.
