Rely Innovations Debuts Industrial Portable Fire Extinguisher Line, Rely FX
The whole Rely FX series of industrial-grade portable fire extinguishers, which are intended to solve corrosion, maintenance load and performance restrictions typical of conventional industrial extinguishers, was formally launched by Rely Innovations, Inc.
The Rely FX platform offers several industry-first and best-in-class innovations targeted at enhancing fire suppression efficacy and lowering total cost of ownership. It is intended for heavy industry, mining, transportation and maritime applications.
The industry's first usage of DOT-specified aluminum cylinders in this category is at the center of the dry chemical line. Compared to conventional steel designs, these cylinders offer greater corrosion resistance, lower weight and long-term durability, enabling dependable performance in challenging operating circumstances.
Compared to the usual 12-year hydrotest intervals, which may necessitate an additional six-year internal exam, Rely FX dry chemical extinguishers are designed around a 10-year hydrotest interval, which lowers maintenance expenses. The longer interval improves operational readiness for all industrial fleets while reducing lifecycle costs.
Additionally, the platform has improved Class A and B fire ratings and industry-leading high-flow discharge rates, allowing for quicker knockdown and more efficient suppression of high-risk fire risks. Under demanding circumstances, reliable performance is provided by optimized internal components and discharge systems.
“The launch of the full Rely FX platform marks a significant advancement in industrial fire protection,” said J.R. Nerat, Rely FX technical director. “We focused on solving real-world challenges—durability, maintenance burden, and performance—while delivering a product line built for the environments our customers operate in every day.”
The company's wider innovation plan, which includes its fluorine-free foam technology, is strengthened by the Rely FX deployment, which also demonstrates the company's dedication to providing high-performance, ecologically friendly and code-compliant fire suppression products.
