Coxreels is pleased with the improvements made to the spring-driven 1.25-inch and 1.5-inch SLPL versions. Before this modification, Coxreels' aluminum inline swivel was standard on these SLPL versions. The outsourced 90-degree swivel was an optional feature on all of these versions. The outsourced 90-degree stainless steel swivel was the sole choice for clients who need a stainless steel fluid passage.

On five SLPL variants (725, 750, 825, 835, and 850), Coxreels replaced the aluminum inline swivel with a nickel-plated steel inline swivel (from the 1185-Series). The inline plumbing's pressure rating is raised from 250 psi to 1500 psi by this swivel. Additionally, compared to the aluminum swivel it replaces, the nickel-plated steel is significantly more robust and long-lasting. For better leak integrity, the redesigned swivel has Coxreels multi-lobe seals.

Customers can choose the new inline swivel based on their stainless steel fluid path needs because it is also available in stainless steel. Compared to the 90-degree swivel stainless steel fluid path, the inline swivel stainless steel fluid path is significantly less expensive. Additionally, compared to the 90-degree swivel, the inline swivel has a more effective and less constrained flow channel.

Both the optional stainless steel variants and the basic carbon steel models had improved axle plumbing. The Coxreels swept riser design (also from the 1185-Series) has taken the place of the axle riser's 135-degree elbow. For increased flow efficiency, the swept riser design provides a less constrictive flow route.

Since 1923, Coxreels has remained unwavering in its commitment to producing premium, industrial-grade hose, cord, and cable reels with cutting-edge industry innovation. Coxreels takes great pleasure in designing, manufacturing, and supporting every product created entirely in the United States. The company offers a complete product line that serves the industry in every channel and application.
