Dallas Police Arrest Woman Who Repeatedly Stabbed Hose During House Fire

Police took the woman into custody after the repeatedly stabbed the supply line as Dallas firefighters fought a house fire.

A woman was arrested at a Dallas house fire Friday morning after she used a knife to puncture a supply line.

Police took the woman into custoday after the incidents that happened around 1 a.m. in the East Oak Cliff neighborhood.

Police told CBS DFW that the woman, who lives in the neighborhood, began stabbing the supply line near the fire hydrant it was connected too, causing water to spray from the damage. Six different spots were punctured, video showed.

Dallas police took the woman into custody and officials have not shared any more details.

Fire officials said the firefighting operation was not impacted by the damaged hose.
