FDNY Firefighters Evacuated Before Building Collapses

The cause of the three-alarm fire in Brooklyn that involved three houses remains under investigation.

A raging fire spread to three buildings in Brooklyn Wednesday afternoon.

Incident commanders ordered firefighters away from the original building as they feared it was about to collapse. And, that's just what happened.

Three firefighters suffered minor injuries during the operation that lasted several hours, CBS reported.

The fire reached three-alarms as firefighters called for additional resources to help.
