A fire in an East Harlem outdoor beer garden quickly spread to the four-story building next door.

All residents in the apartment building are displaced, abc7 reported.

"The windows gave way due to the extreme heat in the rear of the building and the fire entered through those windows," FDNY Deputy Assistant Chief James Canty said.

The beer garden was closed when the fire broke out about 6 p.m.

Investigators are working to determine a cause.
