Video: NJ Firefighters Battle 4-Alarm House Blaze

Bayonne firefighters worked to extinguish a blaze that broke out at a house that was connected on one side and had a partial roof collapse Thursday.

A three-story home on Kennedy Boulevard in Bayonne caught fire Thursday afternoon.

The blaze quickly rose to two, three and then four alarms because the home, near West 18th Street, is attached on one side. On the other side, only an alleyway separates the two homes.

The fire was reported at approximately 1 p.m. According to radio transmissions, firefighters are dealing with a partial roof collapse.
