TN Firefighter Taken to Hospital with Burns

A Memphis firefighter suffered minor burns to his hands and face while battling a blaze that broke out at an apartment complex.

A Tennessee firefighter was burned while battling an apartment blaze Saturday.

The fire broke out shortly after noon Saturday at the Lynnfield Place Apartments, WREG-TV reports. Investigators believe the blaze started when workers were repairing an air-conditioning unit.

While putting out the flames, a firefighter suffered minor burns on his hand and face. He was taken to the hospital and is expected to recover, according to WREG.
