Dozens of people pitched in at a fire scene after a Kentucky firefighter needed help with a supply line at a massive commercial fire last week.
More than 100 firefighters from 13 departments responded to the Dec. 2 fire at Wholesale Hardwood Interiors in Campbellsville, WDRB-TV reports. Crews worked for 10 hours to get the flames under control, and firefighters didn't leave the scene until almost 24 hours after the fire started.
During the call, a firefighter needed help getting a supply line across a road, and he received from a group of civilians at the scene. Raw video shot by a bystander and posted on social media captured dozens of people running to pull the hose where it was needed.
"This happens when we all pull together. Thanks everyone!" Jim Graybeal wrote in the post with the video.
