Louisville firefighters battled a fire in an abandoned warehouse Friday evening.
Smoke from the structure in the Park Hill neighborhood was visible throughout downtown, WHAS reported.
Battalion Chief Bobby Cooper told reporters that residents should stay away from the scene.
The fire that was reported at 5 p.m. was under control as of 10 p.m. However, crews spent the night at the scene to keep an eye out.
The cause is unknown.
