NY Firefighter Suffers Burns During Residential Fire
A New York firefighter was burned battling a residential fire Friday.
The fire broke out at about 8 p.m. at a single-family house in Rochester, WHEC-TV reports. Flames quickly spread through the home and damaged a nearby house, but crews were able to get the fire under control in about an hour.
One firefighter suffered burns to his upper body during the call. He was taken to the hospital, and his injuries were thought to be minor.
The cause of the fire is under investigation, according to WHEC.
