PA Motorcyclist Killed after Driving over Hoseline

A motorcyclist was killed after he struck a Philadelphia Fire Department hoseline at a fire scene early Sunday.

Philly crews were responding to a residential fire and hooked up a hose to a nearby hydrant, WCAU-TV reports. According to police, a 34-year-old motorcyclist ran over the hoseline and crash after losing control of the bike.

Authorities are investigating the incident. It's not clear if speed was a factor in the crash.

Firefighters eventually were able to put out the fire, and no one was injured.
