Baltimore firefighters battled a four-alarm fire that spread through eight rowhomes Friday morning. 

Firefighters were called to the 1500 block of Fairmount Avenue around 7 a.m. for what fire officials called a fast-moving fire. 

Two firefighters were injured, according to local television station WBAL-TV. The injuries were considered minor and they were taken to the hospital for treatment.

Smoke and flames spread to all eight three-story rowhomes, leaving 25 residents homeless.
