Firefighters quickly extinguished a house fire in Catasauqua on Tuesday evening.
The fire in the 300 block of Liberty Street was called in just before 6 p.m., the borough fire department said in a post on social media.
Smoke was reportedly coming from the third floor and a call went out for backup from surrounding stations, but was soon canceled. The fire was out by 6:40 p.m., the department said.
There was no word on any injuries or the extent of any damage.
