Firefighters in Horry County battled a three-alarm blaze that caused heavy damage to multiple units in a townhome complex in Myrtle Beach.
Firefighters were dispatched to a multi-unit residential structure fire on Arezzo Lane Tuesday evening and arrived to a working fire that a neighbor said appeared to have started by a lighting strike, according to WMBF News.
Fire crews quickly increased resources calling in a second and third alarm. The fire damaged all four units in the complex and caused heat damage to an adjacent property.
Approximately 75 firefighters responded to the incident, including Myrtle Beach Fire Department, City of Conway Fire Department, and Murrells Inlet-Garden City Fire District.
