Firefighters in Jamaica Queens battled a five-alarm fire in a plumbing and electrical supply store on Wednesday night.
New York City firefighters were called to the scene around 7 p.m., and arrived in three minutes to heavy fire and parts or the interior collapsed. They moved to an exterior operation, CBS News New York reported.
Fire officials said their top concern is containing the fire to prevent extension to adjacent structures.
Firefighters struggled with a poor water supply and called in assistance from city workers to improve water resources.
