NJ Fire Claims 2 Lives, Injures 4 Firefighters

A massive house fire in Trenton took the lives of twin brothers and injured four Trenton firefighters.

The Trenton Fire Department battled a blaze that claimed the lives of twin autistic brothers and injured four Trenton firefighters.

Trenton firefighters were called to the blaze Saturday evening after a candle started the fire trapping the twin brothers on the third floor of the home, ABC 6 Philadelphia reported.

Officials said two occupants were able to escape the fire, one by jumping from a second-story window.

During fire operations four firefighters were injured, one firefighter had facial burns and the other three were injured during a structural collapse, all four firefighters were transported to a local hospital for care.

Fire officials told ABC 6, all four firefighters were released from the hospital and were at home recovering.
