Firefighters found heavy fire conditions when they arrived to the Fort Worth home at 4 a.m.
Fort Worth firefighters were able to rescue seven residents whose escape was cut off by flames and security bars.

Fort Worth firefighters work inside the home where seven people were trapped.
9-1-1 callers reported a house fire with entrapment at 3:56 a.m. and Engine 4 arrived at 4:00 a.m. to find the front of the home engulfed in flames.
Engine 17's crew found multiple residents trapped in the rear of the home and utilized hand tools to free the trapped occupants, according to a statement from the fire department.
Firefighters tended to the victims, their injuries were minor.
Additional crews arrived and knocked down the fire, which was declared under control in 20 minutes.
"The aggressive search culture our firefighters have trained for makes a difference in these types of situations," the department shared. "This morning’s incident serves as a reminder to always have two ways out of your home in the event the one you use every day becomes blocked by fire."
