Firefighters from several area departments had little luck battling a Livingston house fire Wednesday morning, although the family living there managed to escape without injury.
Crews from Taghkanic, Ancram, Greenport, Clermont, Germantown, Craryville, Milan, Hillsdale, West Ghent, Claverack, Churchtown, Hudson and Mellenville were called to assist either at the scene or standby at nearby stations.
