An Ohio firefighter was hospitalized early Tuesday while battling a house fire that displaced 10 people.
Around 58 Cincinnati firefighters responded to the blaze just before 2 p.m. in the city's Evanston neighborhood, WCPO-TV reports. Crews faced cold temperatures and negatives wind chills fighting the fire.
"We don’t even really notice that it’s cold until really after the fire is somewhat controlled, and then that’s when obviously our bodies start realizing how cold it is," Fire Chief Raffel Prophett told WCPO.
The injured firefighter cut his hand during the fire, and he was taken to the University of Cincinnati Medical Center. No one else was hurt, according to the TV station.
