A Maine firefighter was hospitalized while battling a garage fire Monday.
The blaze broke out around 7:30 a.m. in Greene, WMTW-TV reports. Eight departments—Greene, Lewiston, Lisbon, Sabattus, Wales, Monmouth, Leeds and Turner—responded to the scene and worked to put out the fire, according to the Sun Journal.
A Greene firefighter suffered heat exhaustion and was taken to the hospital, the Sun Journal stated. Greene Fire Chief John Soucy told the news outlet that the firefighter was discharged and is expected to be fine.
