An Indiana firefighter was injured when a bucket of hot tar fell in his face while battling a fire earlier this week.
The incident happened at about 3 a.m. Monday in Vanderburgh County, WEHT-TV reports. Perry Township firefighters were responding to a residential fire that broke out in a detached garage.
While trying to put out the blaze, a firefighter was doused in the face by a bucket filled with hot tar. He was taken to the hospital, and he is expected to recover.
