Chicago firefighters saved eight children from a blaze that broke out at a three-story apartment building early Friday.
The fire broke out just after 4:30 a.m. at a building in the city's Lawndale neighborhood, WBBM-TV reports. It started on the second floor and rear porches of the structure.
Crews used ladder to rescue six kids who were trapped on the third floor. Two children who were dangling from the third floor also were rescued via ladder.
No one was injured in the blaze, and 10 adults and eight children were displaced. The fire is currently under investigation, WBBM adds.
