Two-Alarm House Blaze Injures PA Firefighter

Coatsville crews battled a large fire that broke out at a home and spread to a neighboring house, destroying both residences.

A Pennsylvania firefighter was injured while battling a two-alarm blaze that burned down two houses late Sunday.

Coatesville crews responded to the fire at around 8 p.m., KYW-TV reports. Flames quickly spread to a neighboring home, but firefighters were able to get the blaze under control just before 9:45 p.m.

Details about how the firefighter was injured and the extent of the injuries have not been released. However, officials told KYW that the firefighter is expected to recover.
